All the way back in June of 2022, actor Nam Joo Hyuk faced allegations of bullying from two individuals, both of which were vehemently denied by Management SOOP. They promised to take legal action, and after a long wait, that has paid off as they’ve reportedly been found guilty of defamation.
The two individuals who alleged Nam Joo Hyuk of bullying have been found guilty of defamation. It was after the Goyang Branch of the Uijeongbu District Prosecutors’ Office determined that the claims against the “Start-Up” star were false.
As a result, they were indicted on charges of defaming Nam Joo Hyuk with false information under the Information and Communications Network Act.
Fortunately for him, worse backlash may have been avoided after classmates and teachers backed him shortly after the allegations, and he also went to the military last year, so theoretically his career should be able to get back on track once he returns.
