VAV’s “Under The Moonlight” tries to prove that vocals matter

VAVUnderTheMoonlight

“Anybody can be an idol with enough production!”

It’s a common refrain from coming from cynical K-pop fans, and it generally seems true to an extent. And that extent is apparently VAV‘s “Under The Moonlight“, a song that I assume was created to show everybody else that it certainly helps significantly in pop music if at least one dude can sing a tune or if all your members aren’t tone-deaf.

I like to think of this as not a serious attempt to make a song or an idol group, but as somebody reading KPOPALYPSE wax on about how vocals don’t matter, so to troll him, they put together this group of dudes who can’t carry a single note, like, “Well how about this, motherfucker?”

So … who is down to stan them ironically?
