Male/female idols double standards in K-pop exposed through banned dances/attire

Usually I’m skeptical of these YouTube videos that appears to be click bait, but I was linked to this one on double standards between female and male idols that used banned dances and attire as examples, and I found it pretty compelling.

Everybody basically knows that a double standard exists. It’s plainly obvious to any K-pop fan that has followed the news over the years, but to have examples cited over and over in this fashion is an effective way to clearly show that.

Honestly, I initially was skeptical that stuff like UNIQ‘s “EOEO” was performed live, so I went to go check for myself. Well, when I watched, not only did they not have to change that dick move during the chorus, the camera actually fucking zooms in on it.

Welp.
