Hyosung claims she hasn’t been paid since 2015 by TS Entertainment, just wants out from her contract

Hyosung‘s fight to invalidate her exclusive contract with TS Entertainment continued on recently, and it was revealed that she claimed TSE had not paid her since 2015.

During the pleading, Jun Hyosung’s legal representative said that the last payment she received was 6 million won (approximately $5580) in 2015, and she has not been paid since then. The representative stated, “Jun Hyosung did not receive proper payments even though she worked,” and added, “The defendant is refusing to submit detailed evidence data with the reasoning that it is confidential.”

Meanwhile, TSE denied this and stated there were no issues with payment.

TS Entertainment insisted that there were no problems with payments. Their legal representative submitted a CCTV video of an information session on their payments and commented, “The payment breakdown has been explained sufficiently.”

In this case, Hyosung is willing to give up payments she alleges TSE owe her if they will just terminate her contract with the company, which lasts until 2021.

Currently, Jun Hyosung’s side is sticking to the position of terminating her contract with TS Entertainment even if it means giving up on the payments she has not received. TS Entertainment’s stance is that it is not possible to terminate her contract as it still remains valid until 2021.

While we don’t have any evidence to support either side at the moment, it seems reasonable to side with Hyosung just given the fact that TSE has gone through this before and fellow SECRET member Jieun had the courts side with her contract termination request.

Uh, good luck to SONAMOO and TRCNG going forward, I guess. Though I suppose there is one happy-sad fact that could help them avoid this fate.
