Cho Joo Bin (Telegram Nth Room case) claims he ordered 2018 illegal filming of A Pink’s Bomi & Shin Se Kyung on ‘Pocha Beyond Borders’

As I said previously, I was hoping that no celebrities would be involved in the Telegram Nth Room case, both as perpetrators and victims, but according to chat logs from January of 2020, one of the people in charge of the operation (Cho Joo Bin) had reportedly ordered the illegal filming of A Pink‘s Bomi and actress Shin Se Kyung that happened back in 2018 on the set of ‘Pocha Beyond Borders‘.

According to an exclusive report from Wikitree, a chat log from Cho Joo Bin showed him claiming responsibility for the event, saying that they got caught because of a lack of experience. The chat log was from January 31, 2020 at 2:12 (am or pm unspecified) and showed him saying, “We have many hidden cameras of celebrities. The staff member that caught trying to get the hidden camera of Shin Se Kyung got caught, so he asked us to pay for it. We haven’t done this before, so we got caught because we were inexperienced.” When another member asked Cho Joo Bin about the payment, he mentioned that the payment would only have been made if the staff member was successful, and the payment amount would have been ₩3 million KRW ($2,453 USD).

The staffer involved in that was sentenced to three years probation last year, though fortunately it was revealed by the court at the time that no footage leaked, and this chat log seems to confirm he was caught before that as well.

Thankfully then, Cho Joo Bin and others behind the Telegram Nth Room failed in this instance, though the claims that he has filmed other celebrities is obviously concerning and one gets a sinking feeling that it’s going to get worse and become more relevant to the site.
