Following former AOA member Mina revealing abuse from group leader Jimin and the fallout that led to, she is speaking up again to thank people for the support they’ve expressed and said she will work to get treatment.
Not just my acquaintances, but really so many people have sent me words of concern and support through DM, text message, etc. First of all, I am so sorry that I cannot respond to each message individually. I am trying my best to read them all, and I am just really really thankful..You can stop worrying now..I will receive treatment well step by step and return brightly and in good health very soon in order for you to not worry any more. I will try really hard, so in the meantime, take good care of your health and don’t be sick. Don’t forget to wear your masks, and the weather keeps on fluctuating between being cold and hot as it rains, so be careful of catching a cold. Thank you so much, and I am sincerely sorry once again..Everyone gain strength!
At the end of the day, while I understand the reality is that most people care more about the news story than her, this is undoubtedly the most important thing and it’s nice to get positive updates on her well being.

This tracks as I think Hyejeong was especially close with her even after AOA.
So yeah, my position has basically been that it’s valid to question the AOA members and be skeptical of them until this clears up, but it’s quite vague for now about their level of support or involvement in any of this, so I’m also not gonna be condemning them yet as many others are.
That said, I would like to actually hear from the AOA members or Mina about the rest of the group. This might be unlikely as it “causes more trouble”, but it would help clarify things and this was made public so I think it’s fine to expect to hear something from them.
