Han Chowon finished an agonizing 13th on Produce 48, though we now know she actually finished 6th and was rigged out of IZ*ONE. Back in 2019, after the show, she signed on with CUBE Entertainment, and it’s recently been revealed that she will debut in their upcoming girl group called LIGHTSUM.
She’ll never get back the opportunity that was stolen from her, and quite frankly I’m surprised those who were rigged out of final group haven’t taken legal recourse (maybe to avoid a blacklist, I dunno), but certainly I’m glad she’s at least getting a chance now.
