Almost a month ago, P Nation revealed that couple HyunA and Dawn would be debuting as a duo. It was an inevitable decision as the two have frequently been marketed together since their relationship was revealed, and they both have musical styles that should mesh well with one another.
That said, their “PING PONG” debut isn’t musically much to my liking as it feels like an overload of everything except anything hooky or melodic, but their charisma and chemistry do a lot of heavy lifting in making this an entertaining comeback, If they continue on with this pairing, I’d expect the music to improve at least.
