Billlie recently debuted with “RING X RING” and while it’s conceptually interesting, basically everything about the song is repetitive. The synth, the beat, the vocals, everything that starts out intriguing just seems to drone on and on until the finish, and it all leads to this robotic feel, and in the soulless sense not a sci-fi one. As you can imagine, repeat listens only exacerbate the issue.
