SPIRE CEO’s drunk, creepy, harassing texts to OMEGA X members revealed + legal action status

Unfortunately, despite seemingly having things worked out previously, OMEGA X’s case continues on due to literal YouTuber sourced rumors coming from SPIRE Entertainment.

——

As mentioned over a month ago, OMEGA X’s company IPQ signaled their intent to pursue legal action against In Ji Woong (‘K-Pop Idol Trainer’) and SPIRE. About a week later, they made another statement saying they did exactly that.

Specifically, IPQ filed a criminal complaint for defamation and obstruction against ‘K-Pop Idol Trainer’, as well as civil and criminal complaints for defamation, interference, and sexual and emotional abuse against SPIRE, plus suing individual commenters spreading misinformation and defamatory remarks. They also say that ‘K-Pop Idol Trainer’ reversed course on the claim that there’s a recording of journalist Kang Kyung Yoon being involved with tampering, but will continue with legal action anyway.

IPQ then reiterate that the reason the court granted OMEGA X’s preliminary injunction is because they found the verbal and physical assaults by SPIRE to be true.

Okay, so that’s where the legal side of things stand, but the most recent development is that evidence of SPIRE CEO Kang Seong Hee harassing the members has emerged.

Before the OMEGA X lawsuit, it was revealed she would text members requests like telling her that they loved her, and the members would play along.

CEO Kang: Rejecting it because you didn’t tell me you love me!
Member: Oh my. I love you to infinity.
CEO Kang: It’s too late…
Member: Even if I don’t say it, it’s already my default…
Member: Have a good meal.
CEO Kang: Hehe.

CEO Kang: Hmph… So you don’t love me? I’m super mad. Once I get mad, it lasts a long time.
Member: CEO, that’s a given. Don’t you know me by now? I’m also mad.
CEO Kang: Wow~~~ Look at you playing the reverse card~~~
Member: I’m so disappointed… How can you not know how I feel?
CEO Kang: I’m not about to get attacked by a reverse card!

CEO Kang: Hankyeom, for not saying you love me, you’re out!
Hankyeom: I love you, CEO.

That’s obviously over the line for a CEO in itself, but they also showed that she’d call them drunk late at night, and if they didn’t pick up she’d just keep calling. This exchange was at 1 AM.

CEO Kang: You’re really asking for a fight.
[3 missed calls]
[Call lasting 21 minutes 34 seconds]
CEO Kang: Let’s stop.
CEO Kang: I lost.
CEO Kang: You can never meet me again.

Furthermore, she did things like told member Kevin that they went on a date and declared her love for him.

“Kevin, you even ate with me in case I had to eat alone. I loved our date together, just the two of us. I love you!”

Unfortunately for Jaehan, it seems like she had a special interest in him, as texts dating back to 2021 emerged.

CEO Kang: Our pretty baby, Mommy loves you a lot. I’ll look over you more, and talk with you more. How are you feeling? Wow, you’re so good at drinking.
Member: I totally rested up today.
CEO Kang: Good job.

“Thank you.
I was bearing it all by myself.
Hwichan… He told me that it would be fine, because I was struggling.
Things will all be fine as long as I’m okay.
So I’ll try to be fine…
I’m so confused as to what is real and what isn’t.
Hmm… I also saw what Jaehan was thinking of first.
We… Really… Let’s see if I can live for long.
I…
I want to stop.
That’s right.
Someone like me…
I’m only… Needed for them.
I…
Let’s stop here.
Jaehan too… Jaehan puts his team first, even before me, who’s struggling. That’s why I tried to hold it in…Really… I can feel it all. The sincerity that a human can have.
Jaehan…
I… I’ll stop here.
Jaehan too…
He betrayed me today.
He’ll know that too.
I want to stop now.
Never again… really.
Let’s not meet even by coincidence.
Even if you ever happen to run into me,
don’t cry.
I’m not someone who lives for fake people.
I’ll be able to find my eulogy at this rate…
There’s nothing like that.”

Yes, that is one consecutive string of texts from 3:45 to 4:46 in the morning. I don’t want to even imagine what she was insinuating she thought she had with him, but yeah, it looks about as creepy as it sounds.

Unfortunately, after the contract issues emerged, she of course also focused on texting him about it like a jilted ex.

“The members have to trust the company… That’s how I’ve been working all along.
How did we… end up like this?
I’ve told the Chairman already,
that the group will disband.
I heard that you told the Chairman, that he did not want to receive calls and texts from me?
I knew it… You’re so fucking fake.”

“Don’t come to work tomorrow.
Don’t come to practice either. Don’t do anything in the future.
If you make them practice, I’ll block your access cards.
I’m going to check the log in times on Secom (security system).”

It’s just all absolutely unhinged shit, especially when you consider it’s their company CEO.

Unfortunately, these are also just the texts, as OMEGA X’s legal representatives previously described incidents where things would cross into sexual assault. And given the content of these texts, it’s obviously not difficult to believe how that’d happen as well.

Based on reactions, it seems the evidence provided here was enough to make even people who switched up on OMEGA X (due to that YouTuber) reconsider, because there’s no real other way to read these messages.

I dunno man, I just hope they’re able to resolve the legal issues quickly and they get justice somehow, whether it’s monetary or punitive (both, really).
