Weki Meki to disband after release of goodbye single “CoinciDestiny”

In news where I hate that my pessimism was validated, Weki Meki will be returning and ending their hiatus of 900+ days … only to disband after the single.

On June 7, Fantagio announced that the girl group would be disbanding after releasing one final single together next week.
Weki Meki will be dropping the digital single “CoinciDestiny” on June 12 at 6 p.m. KST, marking a bittersweet end to their seven-year journey as a group.

I guess I’m hoping that it’s not some sleepy ballad, but I’m not gonna get my hopes up.

Sigh.
