In what is totally a coincidence, I’m returning to Asian Junkie just in time to promote the debut of ChRocktikal (YouTube/Twitter/Instagram), the four-member rock band fronted by Dreamcatcher‘s Lee Siyeon (she also serves as a producer). The other three members are bassist Lee Junyoung, drummer Je Gwanwoo, and guitarist/producer Lee Wonseok.
The group explained that the name is a combination of the words “chrome”, “rock”, and “kal” (sword in Korean), and they’ll be arriving on January 15 with a full-length album We Break, You Awake.

The advantages of having an idol fronting your rock band? They come with built-in paypigs like yours truly, who are spending money before even knowing what the sound will be like.
