Wanna One’s Yoon Ji Sung’s antis are now falsely reporting him to the military

Yoon Ji Sung finished eighth on ‘Produce 101‘ and is set to debut with Wanna One (what they named the group), but apparently a bunch of people were none too happy with him being in the group and fabricated rumors about him illegally deferring enlistment into the military.

On a DC Inside community for “Produce 101 Season 2,” someone uploaded a post stating that they had reported Yoon Ji Sung to the Military Manpower Administration. Recently anti-fans had begun spreading false rumors that Yoon Ji Sung, who was born in 1991 and is one of the older members of Wanna One, had illegally deferred his enlistment date for mandatory military service. The poster included the content of their phone call to the MMA as well as a screencap of the message they had left on the MMA’s homepage. The post also included a photo of the MMA’s alleged response, where the MMA said that according to the rules, they would accept deferment until September 30, 2017, and that they could not give out details of someone’s military enlistment deferment as it was personal information.

I suppose it’s inevitable that when you make a group based on direct competition between idols, that’s immediately going to attract the lunatic fringe into the fray. That said, this is a new one.

Also, again, poor person who has to answer these calls from fans.
