Kang Sung Hoon writes 8-page letter denying wrongdoing, apologizes to fans for mess

Kang Sung Hoon of Sechs Kies has fallen under intense criticism recently for reasons ranging from allegedly dating a fansite admin to fraud over a fanmeeting to trespassing and assault. Recently though, he personally responded to the mess in the form of an eight-page handwritten letter posted to his fancafe, Hoony World. Most of the letter is basically telling fans how much they mean to him and he apologizes to them in the end (read the whole thing here), but the relevant thing to the mess are his denials of wrongdoing.

“The stories going around about fan contact, embezzling, and my relationship with the staff are all false. I will take responsibility for taking these stories in hand and revealing the truth. Hoony World will also undergo a change of staff as soon as their work is done. Until the space is reorganized, please keep an eye out, and afterwards Hoony World is…”

Eight pages, really? Well, desperate times call for desperate measures, I suppose.

Regardless, KSH has now denied wrongdoing and has promised to clarify the mess, so this figures to drag on a bit longer at least. Still find it difficult to give him the benefit of the doubt given his past and everything that has emerged, but we’ll see, I suppose.
