Following Wendy’s accident at SBS Gayo Daejun, the broadcast company released an apology. Understandably, that left people unsatisfied, and it struck me as odd that most of the discussion revolved only around an apology when it seemed like there was a case for negligence against SBS.
Well, thanks to Red Velvet fans it seems that police will at least be investigating the incident with that in mind.
Counting on authorities to do anything serious to SBS is setting expectations for the justice system way too high, though even getting to this point could help in at least getting SBS to commit to changes or something like that. Given the history of accidents at events like these, anything to help would be welcome.
