Songs You May Have Missed: March 2021 (Soyou, Jessi, Sorn, Park Ji Hoon, Ha Sung Woon, IZ)

No, you’re not imagining it; this really is two months late. I know, I know. Stuff happens, right? Let’s get going.

——

DEMIAN Feat. DAWN – “Love%”

DEMIAN and DAWN teaming up is really just unfair, actually? So good.

Park Ji Hoon Feat. Lee Hi – “Call U Up”

A good build up and an absolute groove of a track. Of course, whatever Lee Hi touches is gold as well.

CHECKMATE – “YOU”

We love a good co-ed group in this house, and CHECKMATE have a ton of potential. Please don’t sleep on them.

IZ – “Say Yes”

Lovely vocals in the beginning give way to some hidden power-ballad guitars later on, and you know what? I’m not mad about it.

Soyou – “Good Night My Love”

Sweet Soyou should have had more promotion for this track, it’s so soft and calming.

CLC’s Sorn – “RUN”

Girl’s got pipes for sure.

Wonstein – “One Step Further”

My first of two picks from the Rewind: Blossom EP is this track from Wonstein.

Ha Sung Woon – “It’s You”

My second pick from Rewind : Blossom is this from Ha Sung Woon, an altogether different vibe from Wonstein’s, but still very fun.

Jessi – “What Type Of X”

This song is kind of messy? I don’t have a whole lot to say about it. I like the verses.

And that’s it!

Let me know any songs you really loved during March, and I’ll see you all again soon.

Happy listening.

About Ells

Full-time journalist & former boy group trash. (Not) full of bees. I like Epik High more than you do.
