Moon Junyoung (ZE:A) drunk driving mess was his 2nd time, claims he was discriminated against cause he drives a Kia K5

ZE:A‘s leader Moon Junyoung was caught drunk driving a couple weeks ago and charged by police. He was caught driving his car the wrong way down a one-way road and reports were that he argued with another driver who he was blocking.

ZE:A member Moon Jun-young was caught driving a car while intoxicated. As a result of a breathalyzer test, the blood alcohol level corresponding to license revocation was found. Gangnam Police Station said in a phone call with ‘Dispatch’ on the 8th, “Moon Jun-young was charged with drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act on the 7th.” Earlier, a YouTuber exposed Moon Jun-young’s drunk driving. At 1:46 a.m. the previous day, Moon Jun-young was driving a car in a drunken state on a road in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu. He was driving in the opposite direction on a one-way road. The driver on the other side got out of the car when Moon Jun-young did not get out of the way. The two quarreled. At this time, it is known that Moon Jun-young smelled with alcohol and reported it to the police.

The police said, “Moon Jun-young’s blood alcohol level at the time was 0.113%, which was more than the 0.08% standard for license revocation. It is equivalent to drunkenness,” he said. He added, “After finding out Moon Jun-young’s identity, he has taken measures to return home.

It was also revealed that this was his second drunk driving offense, as another had occurred back in 2018 when he had his license revoked. Remarkably, I don’t think that made the news back then.

Given all that, it’s almost amusing then that he recently took to Instagram to talk about the indignity he suffered during all this from the party in the other vehicle, claiming he was discriminated against for driving a Kia K5 despite being a celeb and was threatened for money, disputing the claims by the other driver that he was in a verbal altercation with him.

Look, I don’t know what happened with the other driver, so maybe he’s entirely right that the other guy was scummy. But it’s intensely funny to me that the horrors of being shit-talked for driving a Kia is his focus here while he’s supposedly reflecting. Maybe he wins in court over whatever this issue is, maybe not, but none of it is gonna takeaway from him getting his license revoked twice for drunk driving.
