After making his solo debut earlier this year, ONEWE member Giuk is back with his solo project Rise Waves and its single “Scratch“. Thankfully, he has ditched the overdone vocal effects, and now from the cover art to the sound of the song itself, everything about this screams an audition for some kind of anime ending theme feature.
If you know me then you also know that’s not meant pejoratively, and between the dynamic keyboard and aggressive yet pushed back guitars, the production of this really is perfect for that specific use.
Don’t have a lot to say about it otherwise, but I enjoyed this and figured it was worth highlighting a bit for others who enjoy this sound.
