In news that’s unfortunately going to validate amateur body language experts the world over, T.O.P and Nana have confirmed they’re dating after meeting when she starred in his “Studio54” music video.
The initial report on the relationship was made by Dispatch, where they reported meeting in January 2026 at his music video filming before progressing into dating by June 2026, and they included the usual paparazzi photo proof along with details of their relationship like them going on casual dates around their residences and what not.
Shortly after, the agencies of both T.O.P and Nana confirmed the report.
T.O.P’s agency stated, “They first met while filming [T.O.P’s] music video and formed a connection, after which they grew closer, and [their connection] developed into a romantic relationship around this past June.”
Nana’s agency similarly confirmed, “They formed a connection while filming [T.O.P’s] music video, and they are currently happily dating.”
Honestly though, I can’t say I’m necessarily surprised either. When people first started doing their mind-reading exercises, it was hard not to think “Yeah, that makes sense.” to a potential relationship between the pair. As Dispatch mentioned, they have pretty similar backgrounds with the idol to solo to actor type of thing. I’m sure Korean netizens will freak about this, but who gives a shit, really.
