Well that was quick. Following nine members of THE BOYZ terminating their contract with ONE HUNDRED, subsidiary BPM Entertainment reportedly had three artists of their own do similar in VIVIZ, BE’O, and Lee Mujin.
According to an exclusive report from The Fact, VIVIZ, Lee Mu Jin, and BE’O have all filed for contract termination to conclude their exclusive contracts with Big Planet Made. The reasons were not specifically stated for each artist, but The Fact listed them as serious breach of contractual duties and the resulting loss of trust in the company. All three artists attempted mediation and resolution with the agency and CEO Cha Ga Won, but were unable to fully restore trust within the company.
Also similar, the company has not accepted the termination request.
Cha Ga Won and Big Planet Made have not accepted the contract termination request made by the three artists but The Fact believes that there is clear-cut negligence in the company’s failures to provide even the most basic support and necessities an agency should provide to an artist, so the contract terminations would be accepted in the end.
None of this is unexpected, and I thought it would happen sooner but I guess they were negotiating. So I do wonder what the difference is between these and Taemin leaving BPM late last month that terms couldn’t be agreed on here.
The company has responded directly and said it’s undecided.
BPM's representative said to the press "A final conclusion has not been reached. We are making our best efforts to ensure the artists can continue their normal activities." https://t.co/aT13HoZcwJ
