Brad (ex-GHOST9’s Dongjun) comes out as gay while humorously talking about his idol life struggles

Former GHOST9 member Brad (formerly known as Dongjun) appeared to come out as gay (or at least LGBTQ) in a humorous social media post where he told a story about his idol life under Maroo Entertainment.

He mentioned that he was lacking a lot of things at that time, like phone, time, money, and most notably, a boyfriend.

I assume he’s being at least mostly serious since it would be a kinda shitty thing to joke about, though amusingly the company being a quasi-prison is so normalized in K-pop that it doesn’t even get the headlines. Though I guess none of that part should be a surprise, since he was in the same group as Prince Vatani, who has also not been shy in talking about his idol life.

As for me, while I’d like to have a congratulatory and/or supportive message for him, I am currently too perturbed at his attempt to snort his drink in the video and am currently in the recovery process from that.

As alluded to in the title, Dongjun has since debuted as a soloist as Brad, though it’s actually a re-debut as he previously made his solo debut as $ept Rabbit all the way back in 2017.
