BABYMETAL recently held a solo concert on June 28, though the main news that came out of that was SUMETAL and MOAMETAL were joined on stage by a guest in the form of former Morning Musume member Sayashi Riho. They have had guests on stage before, but this seemed more like a potential permanent replacement for YUIMETAL, and that seemed further concerted yesterday when Riho performed with BABYMETAL again during the group’s performance at Glastonbury Festival.
I mean, I figured they have to do it at some point, right?
They actually did an eight-song set, including one unknown track.
The two permanent members that everybody knows also did an interview where SUMETAL and MOAMETAL talked about various topics. Most impressively, they did it in English.
Also, wow they’ve grown up fast and have come a long way since their breakout.
Additionally, they are releasing their first album in three years in ‘METAL GALAXY‘ on October 11.
