I’m catching up on ‘Miss Back’ so we’ll get to Soyeon’s departure eventually, but yeah, she’s leaving the show and EXID’s Hyelin is taking her place. Honestly, it works out for me either way as while I like Soyeon, Hyelin is also endlessly entertaining to me.
On the November 5 broadcast of “Miss Back,” Baek Ji Young piqued the curiosity of viewers when she revealed that a member of EXID would be joining the seven cast members for the next competition. Anticipation is now mounting for the new episode as Hyelin has been confirmed as the special guest. The new episode will feature the members of EXID gathering together for the first time in a long time. In the episode, Hyelin opens up about feeling nervous about performing on her own and the burden of having to do everything herself without her fellow members.
Listening intently to her confession, the members comfort her and offer her support, and Hani says, “There’s no need to do well. Just enjoy it.” The new episode is set to display the close friendship between the members as they offer their words of encouragement to Hyelin. Additionally, the daily life of Hyelin after her separation from her agency will be revealed. Hyelin says she has been keeping herself busy growing vegetables on the farm and doing part-time work at a restaurant. She also conveys her desire to be appreciated as a singer and says she hopes to get the perfect song for her voice through the show.
Okay, I lied, the one thing I will mention is that it’s hilarious how Soyeon’s departure was timed with them having to do some kind of choreo.
Also happy for Hyelin because variety is where she shines the most, but she can also definitely sing, so this should be right up her alley.
