Earlier today dating rumors between BLACKPINK member Jennie and BTS member V began to circulate after an alleged photo of the two in a car was shared online, sparking arguments about its validity and admittedly awful coincidentally was timed with breakup rumors between Jennie and BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon.
While Big Hit Entertainment did not respond at all, YG Entertainment gave a no comment response.
When reached out for a response by news outlets, Jennie’s agency YG Entertainment briefly commented, “We have nothing to say [regarding this matter],” and added, “We will inform you if we have a different response to share.” V’s agency BIGHIT MUSIC did not comment at all regarding to the rumors.
Not sure that’s going to quiet the rumors.

Anyway, basically all this started with a picture surfacing from an Instagram account, saying it was sent in to them today of two celebs in Jeju.
Later, presumably after fan pressure, they retracted the story.
Others were understandably skeptical of this being an edit because it doesn’t really matchup that well with pictures it was supposedly made from.
Additionally, the fact that V “accidentally” followed Jennie when he first created his Instagram account is probably not helping tamp things down.
