4 staff injured in THE BLACK LABEL photoshoot after falling 20 feet in abandoned building

Today in K-pop working conditions that would make OSHA combust, four staff members of THE BLACK LABEL have reportedly been injured on site of a photoshoot after falling 20 feet.

According to reports on February 28, staff members were preparing for a photo shoot at an abandoned factory in Segyo-dong, Osan-si, Geyonggi-do when they suffered injuries from falling. The accident occurred on the second floor of a 3-story factory, and 4 staff members are said to have fallen 6 meters (19.7 feet).

The number of injured stands at four, with two transported to a hospital’s trauma center.

Two men in their 30s and 40s suffered severe head injuries and were transported to the Ajou University Hospital’s trauma center, according to a Yonhap News report.
Two others, one man and one woman, suffered minor injuries.
“We believe that the photo shoot was for trainees of the agency who have not made their official debut yet,” the police said. “We have not yet conducted a proper investigation so no further details can be disclosed.”
The company manager can be punished if safety precautions had not been taken at the site.

While THE BLACK LABEL has been leaking information about their upcoming girl group, this isn’t the kind of news they probably wanted attached to them, as it’s a safe assumption that this was for their debut preparations.

People always feel bad for the idols over companies, which isn’t wrong, but the people I definitely feel the worst for is the regular employees who don’t have the financial upside of being an idol but still have to deal with shit like this.
