Following Dispatch confirming previous reports in regards to Kim Soo Hyun allegedly grooming and mistreating Kim Sae Ron, things have already gotten significantly worse within the day, and they continue to only look worse for him as the situation develops*.
*Note: I apologize for not covering anything else, but this is a significant and important story for multiple reasons, and it’s almost literally getting updated hourly … to the point where even this post is “late”.
Okay, so basically Garo Sero Institute aired more from Kim Sae Ron’s aunt, in which she says Kim Soo Hyun was the one who approached Kim Sae Ron first, and they ended up dating against the family’s wishes.
One day, before he went to the military, he kept contacting her. He also kept sending her photos of himself in the military. That’s when we thought something was weird and found out. We were very against it.
Of course, she wouldn’t have directly told her mom at first that she was dating someone. Because she kept receiving personal photos from him that we found out and tried to stop her. Sae Ron said she told him not to fool around with a young kid like her. What do you think he would’ve said to her to make her date him? He said things like he sincerely valued her, he was serious about her, things like that. He was totally serious when he said that to her. Of course she knew he was way older. She told him not to mess around with her, not to joke. We know about that because Sae Ron told us later on. But she said he was serious about it. Later on, when he made his company, he promised to take care of her because he loved her. He talked about it as if he would take responsibility for her. That’s why she left YG Entertainment when her contract was ending. Normally people would shop around for agencies, but she went there because they were dating.
The aunt also says that later into their relationship, when she was an adult, Kim Soo Hyun asked her to marry him.
In relation to the part about the military, there’s pictures provided (see above and below), as well as a love letter he allegedly wrote to her.

Today, the weather has been quite unpredictable. Like the weather, I’ve been tossing here and there, making it a perfect Saturday for writing or just thinking. This morning, the cloudy fog made me think, “What kind of day is today going to be?” Right in that mood, I went to a karaoke and sang Shin Seunghoon Ahjussi’s song and cursed…ㅇㅅㅇ
Had it been an hour? That piercing sunlight that made my skin like this, suddenly appeared and shone brightly, just like a lie. “Wow, this feels like something.” I grabbed my oil and went to the helipad, tanning my front and back. An hour passed. It got too hot, I couldn’t continue.
After lunch, I watched the re-run of ‘Heart Signal 2’. I cheered hard, felt a bid sad. Outside, the dark clouds gathered and all my emotions spilled out. “Wow, thank goodness I didn’t had any operation/mission today.” An hour passed. Unlike my expectations, the rain stopped. The clouds were dark, but the sunlight peeked through, creating this image where it looked like the sun was bursting out from the cloud. It was quite the sight, but I didn’t have a camera with me.
Earlier, I recalled a lonely scene from a November morning when snow fell onto an empty playground. When I first went on a mission at 4 AM, the whole sky was filled with dust until everything was covered in white. “Wow, I didn’t know our country could look like this,” I thought. On a day with 99% moonlight during an ambush, there were so many stars in the sky but the sky was so bright with stars that you could see the landscape clearly. As the weather got warmer, I noticed a shift in the scent of the season. It was tough from all the training, but suddenly, I could smell the scent of sunlight filling the air all day, making me feel sentimental.
Ah, how should I put it… I’m just trying to figure out what’s a good standard, what kind of day it is, and what I’m seeing. I wanted to share this thought, even though it’s hard to see each other. I don’t want to put pressure on anyone, but the most I can say is ‘I miss you.’ Anyway, it was a good weekend. I was able to write. I thought about making a comeback as soon as I’m discharged. I thought about traveling to Japan or far-off Europe. Here, I get swept up in these thoughts and wonder if I should go back to school. Ah, are we going together?! But when is my discharge? I looked back, and it’s already been 8 months since I enlisted. If I look ahead, there’s still more than a year left. Ahaha. So, moving forward, I’ll keep going. I’ll do my best. Thank you. Loyalty. Kim Soo Hyun enlisted in October 2017, and the photos were reportedly sent within the year, so Kim Sae Ron was 17 or 18 at most when this was happening.
The family also provided a postcard that he sent to her from Paris in 2019.

Meanwhile, The Fact also contacted Kim Sae Ron’s aunt to confirm everything. She explained that Kim Sae Ron paid off the damages and compensation from the DUI herself, but the 700 million won was due to the Bloodhounds termination fee, and that Kim Sae Ron said Kim Soo Hyun personally lent her that money (to repay when she could). However, as mentioned before, she later got a legal notice from lawyers threatening legal action if not repaid by a hard deadline.
The aunt also confirmed they were in a relationship before she signed with GOLDMEDALIST in 2020, and that her parents opposed it due to the age gap (her mother recently spoke up as well, saying she just wants to restore Kim Sae Ron’s honor). Despite the opposition, the agency assured them that they’d take care of her, but they abandoned her the moment she needed them.
The aunt also said they will take legal action against a cyberwrecker, which is likely Lee Jin Ho, as Kim Sae Ron’s father mentioned before. Furthermore, the family says that Kim Soo Hyun’s denials are defamation, and they will pursue legal action against him.

After basically hoping this would all go away, GOLDMEDALIST has responded again, this time saying they will have a statement next week with refuting evidence.

Their problem at the moment is it’s not just a cyberwrecker channel doing this anymore, and I’m not sure what they could even say that would help him other than proving all of this evidence is fabricated.
For example, the picture below is circulating widely around the Internet at the moment, depicting when Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun first met, and at minimum I can’t see how anybody could think there was nothing disturbingly inappropriate about their relationship.
