It’s been awhile since there’s been an update on the OMEGA X abuse case, but their company IPQ has recently provided a positive update. The former director of SPIRE Entertainment (Kang Seong Hee) has been charged for the indecent assault of six members and the case has been forwarded to the prosecution. Furthermore, IPQ states that the so-called tampering that SPIRE had tried to pin on them and OMEGA X has been cleared and SPIRE will have to pay compensation for emotional distress.
While the indecent assault has understandably got a lot of the attention, it seems the mere legal dispute about the tampering (no matter how frivolous), impeded their ability to do activities how they wanted. So hopefully at least with that part of this behind them, they’ll be able to do what they like.
