In what I can only describe as a surreal story, legendary J-pop star Hamasaki Ayumi has had to deny that Elon Musk is the father of either of her two children.

Well, as has been slowly revealed recently, Elon is a freak about pronatalism who believes he needs to father as many children as possible as like a gift to humanity or something. A few days ago, in wide-ranging report from the New York Times on Elon, the mother of his 14th child (Ashley St. Clair) threw in at the end that Elon fathered a child by a Japanese pop star.
Ms. St. Clair said that Mr. Musk told her he had fathered children around the world, including one with a Japanese pop star. He said he would be willing to give his sperm to anyone who wanted to have a child.
“He made it seem like it was just his altruism and he generally believed these people should just have children,” Ms. St. Clair said.
For most people that was a bit of a throwaway line in a far more disturbing story, but for J-pop fans and Japanese netizens, it led to a hunt for who it was.
I’m not sure why, but a lot of the speculation fell on pop stars of similar age to Elon, when if you know these freaks, they don’t care about that and would likely even prefer much younger women. Regardless, a lot of the speculation ended up falling on Ayu as she had a son in 2019 and another child in 2021 without the father being named.
Well the rumors got heated enough that Ayu herself addressed things directly on her Instagram Stories, directly denying that Elon is the father and then sorta poking fun at this whole thing becoming a thing before again seriously denying it.
I guess I should never be surprised by the kind of stuff that emerges, but this feels AI-generated.
