The iconic Korean film My Sassy Girl has ramped up promotions ahead of the release of its 4K remastered version for its 25th anniversary. The 2001 film has a North American premier date at the New York Asian Film Festival this month, was a nationwide phenomenon in South Korea at the time, and most importantly played a role in really getting me to dig deeper into Korean entertainment. Yeah, it’s sorta Jeon Ji Hyun‘s fault you’re all here.
The film itself is a classic, but the most important thing to me personally is that everybody is up to date with the Easter Eggs in the film and the UFO time traveler theory before I command you to go watch it if you can.
