KG (ex-VCHA) gets a tentative legal win to terminate JYPE contract, also Kaylee announces departure from group & company

Back to the grind of covering legal messes, former VCHA member KG announced an update to her abuse and mistreatment lawsuit against JYP Entertainment that the court provided a temporary ruling in her favor terminating her contract with JYPE. She adds that JYPE’s legal team requested additional time to submit evidence hoping to overturn that, so the ruling isn’t final yet.

Not that this things never change, but assuming this is true, it’s never a good sign for the party that has to go digging for more stuff.

In a way, the people effectively defending the company by saying every idol/groups goes through this could end up proving a point about the way the industry is run if this result holds, though not in the way they likely intended.

In arguably relevant news given past reports, over a week ago member Kaylee left the group and company following being on hiatus for health reasons for over a year.

JYP America and Kaylee have mutually agreed to part ways as she concludes her journey with VCHA. Both parties sincerely wish each other all the best in their future endeavors. Thank you.

Kaylee herself also made a statement on Instagram.

This is Kaylee. I wanted to inform everyone that my journey with JYP Entertainment and VCHA has come to an end.
Firstly, I want to express my deepest gratitude to JYP Entertainment for the incredible opportunity they gave me and for all the experiences I gained during my time as a trainee and member of VCHA.
To all the amazing VLIGHTS, who have supported us with so much love and passion – thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your encouragement has meant the world to me.
While this part of my life is closing, I am incredibly excited for the new one ahead. I’m looking forward to exploring new creative paths and sharing my own unique artistry with you all. I’ve already started working on new things, and I can’t wait to show you what’s next.
I hope you’ll continue to support me as I embark on this new journey. Your continued love means everything. Let’s make new memories together!

Well, I’m glad she’s out and posting about her life at least, and hopefully without having to deal with any kind of obligations left to the company or anything like that.
