‘Fandom Stage’ promises a literal fanwar Olympics, but it could use more realistic events

You’ve heard of Idol Star Athletics Championships? Well now we’ve got Idol Fandom Athletics Championships.

That’s right, exclusively on the Pixid YouTube channel, they are having representatives of 10 fandoms — Day6, MONSTA X, g.o.d., TXT, SHINee, SEVENTEEN, TWICE, BIGBANG, EXO, and RIIZE — participate in a show called Fandom Stage.

The preview hints at events for photography/filming, unboxing, ticketing reflexes, fanchant endurance, and some kind of excuse to let them brawl with each other. The latter being the most realistic event in the whole show.

We need multiple seasons of this, though. The winner of these fandoms needs to play an ultimate final against the winner of the BTS and TVXQ fandoms, even better if the latter are divided between OT5 and OT2 stans, who also have to fight to represent the group.

I also think this is a bit disingenuous in terms of the categories. Everybody knows the real fandom Olympics would need to have categories for online harassing (inventing slurs, perhaps), pulling hair, and assorted intelligence work like a spy.
