Back in October of last year, Jessica announced that she would be making her writing debut in a novel about a Korean-American teenager who goes to Korea to become a part of a nine-member K-pop girl group.
Well, Entertainment Weekly published an excerpt recently, and boy does it read like an autobiography.
Using fictional characters for an autobiography seems like a very K-pop thing to do, to be fair.
The cover is just as amazing, really.
Given that it’s a two-book deal, it seems like we’re probably going to have to wait in order to find out how “Rachel” gets booted from her totally fictional K-pop group.
The book publishes October 6.
