SHINE, Jessica’s debut novel and perhaps the greatest literary achievement in the history of humanity, has made the New York Times’ Best Sellers list, placing #5 on the Young Adult Hardcover list.
Surely the National Book Awards must be resentful that this came out too late to be nominated for 2020, but there’s always next year baby!
Truth be told, I have no idea if this is bad or good for the book. I assume it’s good, but I have no idea what the publisher expected.
Regardless, all it has to be is enough for her
and her ghostwriter to pump out over-the-top drama and I’m there.
