(G)I-DLE member Yuqi recently updated her Weibo with pictures from her photoshoot for the July 2022 edition of ELLE Korea, and while there was a lot of praise, there was also one comment that caught her attention for basically saying the pictures were too revealing.
“Baby! Aren’t you having a little bit of a wardrobe malfunction in pictures 3 and pic 5! Be extra careful when I’m not around. There are many old perverts out there who are craving your body! Heheh.”
No idea if that’s a man or a woman, but either way it feels like a bit of a self report anyway.
Regardless, Yuqi was quick to head that line of thought off in her reply.
“Nope! This is a prejudiced view. A girl wearing a short skirt doesn’t necessarily mean she’s over-exposing herself, revealing a little cleavage doesn’t mean flashing herself, or if she’s revealing a little skin doesn’t mean you have to think that way. I only think I look good, I’m satisfied, that’s all. You don’t have to take to heart what others see you as, we just wear pretty clothes, put on pretty makeup just for ourselves to be pretty and confident. Just be yourself, be happy with yourself.”
Between her and Shuhua, they’re certainly proven to be refreshingly unshy about speaking their mind, which dovetails nicely with their group image, honestly.
