Following their racism/appropriation controversy, KISS OF LIFE‘s company S2 Entertainment basically tried to take responsibility for them, which was predictably met with a cold reaction from fans. After continued backlash, they have now apologized again, but this time with a handwritten letter from the members.

Given that this is a second offense in a way, as well as somewhat of a second attempt at addressing it, they probably could’ve done better to mention exactly what the offensive content was and who was impacted by it. Feels like that would make it seem more as if they understood the problems.
That said, aside from doing a hostage-esque apology video, this kind of thing is basically all they can do (plus continuing to respond to any fan concerns). Of course, the thing is fans aren’t obligated to forgive or resume support either, and the response during their next comeback should be interesting given the intensity of the backlash they received. Hell of a way for an ascending group from a small company to self-sabotage.
