Bullet Points: Wendy & Yeri leave SME, Sunny to A20 with Lee Soo Man, Busters & SECRET NUMBER decimated, DRIPPIN enlistment red flag, donations galore, more

STAYC‘s Sieun rocking this shirt makes it at least the third time an idol has worn it.

Been a while since I’ve done this feature, but there’s been a surprising amount of company/group movement, and the unfortunate wildfires have led to a ton of donations.

Wasn’t even aware this was going on, honestly, but glad Sungjong got the money he was owed.

Lee Su Jeong is Baby Soul from Lovelyz, FYI.

A.C.E seem to continue a trend of groups moving on from their original company as a group and keeping their branding, which is great news. If you just read social media, you’d think being at MODHAUS with Jaden Jeong was literal Hell, and yet.

Wendy and Yeri leaving SM Entertainment, presumably to find better fits for solo work, is not surprising, but does mark another girl group’s future being thrown into the air. Meanwhile, Lee Soo Man just cannot stay away, but I guess Sunny linking up with her uncle kinda just makes sense.

——

That leaves Nami as the only remaining member in Busters, while Soodam and Zuu are the only ones left in SECRET NUMBER.

——

Give these dudes a break, man.

——

Yunseong‘s enlistment is notable because he’s only 24, and even before this there have been questions about DRIPPIN‘s future.

——

Hopefully the Wheesung donation is a sign that the family is taken care of and he wasn’t under financial duress at the time of his passing.

In terms of the wildfire stuff, the reason for the scope of the relief donations is South Korea is still fighting arguably the worst wildfires in their history. Tired of living through historical events, as they say.

One of the few award shows I do make note of from South Korea is the Korean Music Awards, because instead of being a popularity contest, it at least helps to gauge who Korean critics favor. Agreeing with them is a different thing entirely.

Younha is married … I am old.

Bullet Points Ending Theme Of The Day

m-flo‘s Cosmicolor is almost two decades old, which is a harrowing reminder that time is unrelenting and cruel, but at least “Love Me After 12 AM” with Clazziquai‘s Alex continues to be a timeless bop that’s also topical to a bullet point.
