Over six years after they announced their hiatus back in 2019, and over four years after it actually went into effect at the start of 2021, ARASHI have now announced that they will be disbanding following their concert tour in the Spring of 2026.
They made an official announcement on Twitter, and in English to boot.

Due to the lengthy hiatus, this doesn’t feel necessarily that surprising, but the fact that it’s going to be official official now is definitely noteworthy.
In the end, it’ll make it around 26 years together for the legendary group, who have made their mark during that time across the entire Japanese entertainment industry, as well as outside of it.
