Jessica makes her return to Korean TV in an ‘SNL Korea’ cameo with her sister Krystal hosting

In what was a pleasant surprise, Jessica Jung made a cameo appearance on Saturday Night Live Korea while her sister Krystal was hosting. They apparently knew what they had, as they teased it beforehand.

Of course, seeing is believing when it comes to these things as you’re always expecting a last minute “complication” to prevent an appearance, but she was indeed there.

Surprisingly it’s only been five years since the pair had a show on Lifetime Korea — arguably more impactful to be on cable than streaming — but between this and Jessica covering SNSD songs at the beginning of the year, maybe the tides are shifting a bit. A normalization of relations, so to speak.

All I know is whatever show in the future gets the tearful melodramatic OT9 reunion is gonna melt ratings services.
