Well, that was quick.
As people waited to see how a mere remake of a second-gen classic would do on actual music charts instead of just getting views for YouTube variety stuff, the fans that made RESCENE endlessly viral responded by pushing “Love Attack” to #1 on Melon, charting “Pretty Girl” at #4, and also charting three of their other songs (“Deja Vu“, “Runaway“, “Pinball“) in the Top 100.
As a result, the members logged on in the middle of the night to celebrate with their fans, and they teared up while talking about the achievement.
And that makes this as good a time as any to feature Woni dropping a bar that’ll launch a thousand edits.

As I said before, using their newfound fame to promote KARA to the masses is a wonderful thing for them to do, and I’m not sure why I didn’t expect it, but they ended up getting Nicole to perform with them on M COUNTDOWN stage.
I’m mostly glad these kind of details are happening from an entertainment perspective cause it’s fun, but it also seems to indicate their CEO might have a clue of what people (me) want, and that bodes well for the big picture.
I hope they bring one KARA member on stage each time, screw it.
What a ride, man.
Asian Junkie Asian pop. Without discretion.
