In what a thought was a joke or parody, SNSD subunit HyoRiSoo (Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung) are going to make their debut soon with a title track called “SKIBIDI“, as in like the brainrot meme, on August 31.
“IATFB, surely this is an elaborate shitpost by you and not a real thing they’re doing, right?”
No no, I checked, it’s real. Given the nature of their comedic build-up to this, I thought it was them meme’ing, but it’s actually happening.
“Well, it’s humorous, so despite the name perhaps the song will be great.”
Well, if the teasers are anything to go by, maybe not.
And no, I’m not taking it too seriously. I get it. I get what they’re doing, but I’m just hoping the final product is better than this after all this time waiting. Maybe they can brute force it into making it work. We can cope.
At least they’re having fun, I guess.
