SECRET returned with “ICE CREAM”, though “GET RIGHT” reigns supreme

Not unlike my delay with UAU, I’m doing an even more belated post about SECRET‘s reunion with a new member. And also like with UAU, they arguably should’ve gone with one of their B-sides over their actual title.

The single they dropped was “ICE CREAM“, which was pleasant and fine, but the actual title was pretty representative of what to expect. It’s been done a million times before and is relatively indistinguishable from others.

Fortunately, they did do some promo for B-side “GET RIGHT“, which was the much better song, arguably the much more SECRET song, and quite frankly also had better styling.

It’s just cooler.

I would not be surprised if the B-side grows on me over time.

Though the real value in having these groups reunite is that they usually promote their old material, and here’s SECRET doing the 2026 version of “Madonna” with the new member.

And arguably most importantly, as part of the promotions, they got AOA‘s Choa out of wherever she’s hiding these days.
