Far East Movement, Marshmello, Chanyeol of EXO, and Tinashe recently dropped “Freal Luv” and its music video.
Perhaps the most impressive thing about this release is the music video itself, which matched with the mood of the track perfectly and was visually engaging throughout.
Marshmello created an almost haunting environment for the artists to operate in, and while the instrumental was a bit bare bones, it also impressively never stagnated despite not being bombastic. Far East Movement and Chanyeol … I mean they’re not about rapping, really. They just happen to make good songs sometimes and the rap is not so bad it’s distracting, so they did their jobs. Of course, Tinashe’s vocals ruled the song and she basically carried the track, which made it a pleasant experience. Unrelated, I love her.
