Bullying Allegations Roundup: SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu, (G)I-DLE’s Soojin, Park Hye Su, Ji Soo, Choi Ye Bin, Dong Ha, April

Well, it’s been about a week or so since the last roundup, and while I’d like to report that things have gotten better, that hasn’t necessarily been the case. There are three new allegations, three updates on allegations, and one allegation that is being covered separately.

——

April: Since the primaries of this story are all celebrities, it has received separate coverage here, here, here, here, here, and here.

——

SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu: Pledis Entertainment stated that the allegation that he bullied a disabled student is false, something confirmed by the student and their mother themselves. Meanwhile, they are looking into the other allegations.

(G)I-DLE’s Soojin: Cube Entertainment stated that while there were conflicts, there was no school violence and bullying. Actress Seo Shin Ae again appears to reference the controversy.

Choi Ye Bin: Accused of bullying, J,WIDE-Company denied the claims. The accuser then took the allegation down, and the company responded that they won’t be taking any action.

Ji Soo: Accused of school violence and bullying, which led to two separate allegations of school violence and bullying. KeyEast said they were looking into it, then the actor posted a handwritten letter of apology to everyone he has hurt. Allegations of molka, sexual assault, and rape then emerged. KeyEast denied the claims of sexual crimes.

Park Hye Su: Dispatch reveals texts of actress and an accuser being friendly, and a witness says there was no bullying. The texts also show Park Hye Su being friendly with a different accuser, and witnesses name two others responsible for two assaults against that accuser. The two accused of the assaults give an interview and admit to their roles in the incidents, but also say that Park Hye Su was present for both, instigating one of them and participating in the attack in the other. Studio Santa Claus Entertainment stated that the allegations are false, providing a detailed response.

Dong Ha: Accused of school violence, J,WIDE-Company stated that the allegations are false.
