88rising announces Head In The Clouds Festival 2021

Within the last week, I’ve seen announcements for MONSTA X, Austin City Limits, SXSW, Rolling Loud, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Primavera in Spain (which Dreamcatcher will be playing). Suffice to say, it’s been a wild week of festival announcements!

But the one that really caught my eye is 88Rising‘s Head In The Clouds, which is normally thrown at McArthur Park in Los Angeles. Well, the wildly popular, all-encompassing Asian-American entertainment company is planning a massive two-day festival at none other than the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California on Saturday, November 6th and Sunday, November 7th of 2021!

So far, this is the first event announced for the year on Asian Junkie‘s calendar. I’m so excited to see what 88Rising brings to the table on top of their amazing label lineup featuring such artists as Rich Brian, Joji, and Niki!

Not only did the label drop the info on the new event, but they also dropped the first single off their next compilation album!

California” is a nostalgic, sweet ride through the lens of Asian-American diaspora. Honestly, I’ll listen to anything involving Niki because her voice is a gentle balm to my soul. Niki combined with Rich Brian and Warren Hue provide that mellow summer track we needed.

88Rising is currently having a “Trust Us” sale on passes, which means you’re dropping a down payment without a lineup. But if past shows are any indication as to the power 88Rising has to pull off a damn good show, I’d say grab your tickets now because it will sell out!

You can check out tickets to 88Rising’s Head In The Clouds festival here.

And let me know if y’all would like me to keep doing tour announcements. I’m so excited that we’re going to finally get to see our faves live soon!
