YG sentenced to a fine of ~$14k after admitting to gambling charges

Three months ago, YG admitted to all charges against him regarding gambling overseas, and a couple weeks ago the court sentenced him to a fine of ~$14,000, so basically nothing to somebody like him.

He was indicted in June on charges of flying to Las Vegas, United States seven times between July 2015 and January 2019 and gambling using a total of approximately $335,460 with four other individuals. Back in October, the prosecution requested a fine of 10 million won (approximately $9,055). At the sentencing hearing on November 27, the Seoul Western District Court sentenced Yang Hyun Suk a fine of 15 million won (approximately $13,583).

Nothing unexpected here and nothing all that much to care about either as overseas gambling is not something to be concerned about.

Basically just an update on YG’s continued legal cases, as the more important one is the suspicion of witness tampering in B.I’s drug case, which is obviously still ongoing.
