Eric Nam rises to the occasion for #StopAsianHate + Atlanta victims crowdfunding campaigns

In the rise in anti-Asian violence in America recently, including the response to the recent mass murder in Atlanta, Asian-American singer Eric Nam has risen to the forefront as one of the de facto representatives for Asian-American celebrities. It’s not necessarily fair, but so far he’s done a good job in his writings for Time and in his appearance on CNN.

Thought he touched on a lot of relatable points for many who live this experience, and I’m glad that media outlets have chosen him out of those in Korean entertainment to speak out as he’s been trustworthy when it comes to representing.

Regarding helping victims directly, crowdfunding campaigns by the families of the victims have been setup, which provide a direct way for people to support. Also gives the family a chance to talk about their loved ones and tell their story.
